For the FR monkey king we see most offers are kind of unimpressive at the moment with values right around our current value for it. The only noteworthy recent exception is a recent trade for CCBD. Taking all this into account a little increase is justifiable"

We found enough evidence to feel confidence that this was indeed the case so we are disregarding all no potion MK offers and trades in this value review. That said, we are seeing very strong offers for the FR monkey king like a Peppermint Penguin with add and many other examples you can see on our site. We think the FR monkey king has benefitted from the no pot manipulation as it was very quiet in monkeyville value land until that happened. Increasing according to what we are seeing"

Update Notes: "First of all: VALUE MANIPULATION WARNING for the NO POTION VERSIONS of this pet. We just posted a video today on our youtube channel with all the details if you want to know more. We are ignoring all no-potion offers and trades for this value review due to the manipulation that we investigated in our video. OK with that out of the way... in regard to potioned versions (FR, etc.): We see some evidence of only a very very slight increase being justified for the monkey king at the moment as we see some pretty good trades and offers like a FR Flamingo or 2 candicorns. The NFR version seems to be getting closer to the 62 to 64 ride potion range which is a pretty good jump up and nice to see for this very hard to get and very nicely designed fairly old pet. For the MFR version we are seeing nice offers in the 240 to 260 range - like a Frost Dragon. Updating accordingly"

Update Notes: "We see someone just traded a goose for a Monkey King. With Goose being a decently rising and decently hot pet that is a good sign for the respect that a Monkey King can still get. We also see a recent trade of a peppermint penguin for one. Additionally we see a Monkey King owner recently traded their pet away for 18 ride potions and there is a currently active offer of 9 pet certs for one. However there is also an unaccepted offer of a Monkey King for 18 ride potions. Ultimately it does seem like this slow rising Monkey King does deserve a small rise. We think the 18 ride pots trade was a win for the Monkey King but we do think its value needs to nudge closer toward that. Adjusting accordingly"
