Sugar Festival Week 4 Is Busy!

There is so much happening in week 4 of the Sugar Festival, but here are the big things to know:
- There will be a new ultra-rare Pupcake pet for 99 Robux
- There will be a Chocolate Bunny Box for 15000 candy eggs. It will contain 3 different chocolate bunnies.
- There will be a special unique pet launched during Admin Abuse on Saturday, April 4th
- The Pets Plus subscription is being updated with a new sticker pack & a new treat that you can use to get new Guinea Pig pets (3 versions).
We also recently spent some time putting together a video that looks at the value history for every 1000 Robux pet. Is it really worth paying 1000 Robux for a pet? The answer is to the left.
Sugar Festival Tips & Value Notes!

Here are a few notes & tips we have about the Sugar Festival so far:
- Players love the Candicorn, and we expect it to follow a similar value path as the Mermicorn (high start, slowly declines while in game, then slowly increases after leaving game). Try to get one in your inventory before the event ends (lowest values for it will likely be around week 3 based on the history of other similar pets).
- The Gumball Caterpillar is so cute and started out with very strong offers, but by the end of day 2 it already significantly decreased. We think this decrease is going to continue and probably hit a rockbottom price of less than 1 ride potion eventually.. which is kind of sad.
- Make sure you try to get the JACKPOT every day in the Game of Sweets! This will significantly help you get those Gumball Caterpillars faster. See the attached video for more details.
- Event pets always drop in value so quickly - due largely to bots farming the event currency. The best time to get a profit is when new event pets first come out, so consider saving up some candy eggs to have ready to buy the new pets ASAP when updates drop each Friday. Good luck!
Expensive SSBD Pet Wear Leaves Game Soon

Special edition Strawberry Shortcake Bat Dragon merch will only be for sale until March 9, 2026. On that day, it will no longer be for sale. On that same day, the in-game Pet Wear items that come with the merch will finally be tradable. Please note you must live in the USA and must purchase the merch inside of Adopt Me in order to get the in-game Pet Wear.
We expect these in-game Pet Wear items to have very good value. The Giraffe Backpack and Giraffe Hat are still available for sale via this same merch purchase. They both have very strong value - about 1 ride potion worth of value for each dollar that they cost, interestingly enough. We expect that this will also be true for the new SSBD pet wear at a MINIMUM. It is more likely that some of these items will actually get an even better value since some of them might be considered preppy/cuter than the Giraffe items AND they were only or sale for about 1 month.
New EGG & New Silverback Gorilla

Today Adopt Me had a somewhat silent release of the new Legendary SILVERBACK GORILLA. It has replaced the Giant Panda in the Crystal Egg & Basic Egg, and it has the same odds of hatching it (0.1% and 0.01% respectively). The Giant Panda will still be available to purchase for tickets for about the next week, and then it will only be available through trading.
Additionally, we finally get a NEW EGG tomorrow (Saturday) during Admin Abuse. Many people believe it will be an Endangered Egg that houses endangered species, and that does seem very likely. Be sure to join the Admin Abuse tomorrow since it should be exciting to see everyone hatching all the brand new pets. What's particularly cool is that there have been no leaks or announcements about the pets. Adopt Me usually gives us all the details ahead of time, so this is a nice change.

New EXPENSIVE Strawberry Pet Wear

You may have heard that there are 4 brand new Strawberry-themed Pet Wear items in Adopt Me. You get them by purchasing real-life merch items through the Shop menu in Adopt Me, just like how you could get the Giraffe Pet Wear items a few months ago. The items range in price from $28 USD to $55 USD and you must be 13+ and live in the USA to purchase them.
All of these items are not able to be traded until March 9, 2026, so we will not be able to put them on our website until then. We post values only based on real trades and offers that players make, so we have to wait until then to start collecting data.
One interesting note is that these Pet Wear items seem like they will only be available to purchase UNTIL March 9, so you can't wait to purchase them until you see what value they have. You can only buy them BEFORE they become tradable. So should you buy them?
The short answer is yes if you like the real-life item that comes with them. Based on how the Giraffe Backpack & Giraffe Hat is doing, they are both basically currently worth about 1 Ride Potion per real-life dollar that those items cost. There is a VERY good chance that these new strawberry-themed items will follow this same path (of about 1 ride potion per real life dollar that they cost). They might even do better since, well... they are kinda cuter than the Giraffe items, and cute stuff gets good values historically. Regardless, we will all have to wait until the items become tradable to know for sure.
Auction System UpdateJanuary 31, 2026
We just updated our Auction System so that you can now set a minimum bid for your auction. We originally created the system so that every auction had no minimum. Then we received a lot of feedback and ended up changing it so that a "Fair" offer was the minimum. Now after much more time, we have decided to allow users to specify their own minimum bids. It will be "fair" by default but users can adjust them as needed. If a user sets the auction to having a minimum bid of 0, then it will be labeled as a "True Auction" which we think is the best kind.
HUGE Pet Wear & Gifts Update!

Adopt Me is having a HUGE Pet Wear & Toy Update this Friday, January 30, 2026. So many pet wear & toy items will be leaving the game and so many new items will be taking their place. We will also be saying goodbye to the Tri-Horned Treehopper. Check out the video to the left where we go through all the details in as little time as possible and give you a couple tips to help prepare for this big update.
Message System Update & New Notification Sound

UPDATE: We have updated our notification sound from a simple snap of the fingers to a more traditional notification sound combined with the snap. This notification sound received 3 times more votes than any other option we provided in the poll we recently put out to our users. We included our traditional snap noise as part of each option since that original finger snap notification noise is the sound of 2 of our founders snapping their fingers at the same time (weird? yes but it's ok to be weird sometimes).
PREVIOUS UPDATE: Last month we rolled out a new messaging system to help users communicate with other users about trades since Roblox has been making it more difficult to chat in game. We made a system where users could only choose from a handful of pre-defined messages in order to help keep scammers & bad people away. Then we put out a poll to see if this was good enough or if users really wanted to be able to type their own messages. Over 60% of respondents wanted to be able to type their own messages, so we have made an update. You can now type your own messages in our messaging system.
Once you accept an offer (or if someone accepts your offer), you can now click a little envelope icon near their name to send them a message. While composing a message to them, just choose the option to WRITE YOUR OWN MESSAGE. This will pop open a little text box where you can type in what you would like. Just be sure to keep it G-Rated, appropriate for all ages, and to NEVER share any personal information (e.g., name, address, phone number, password, etc.). We have also added a Block & Report button so you can help keep the system clean of those who don't use the system appropriately. We hope you find this feature helpful.
Stock Up on Crystal Eggs Now!January 5, 2026
This Friday (January 9, 2026), the Ladybugs will be leaving the game and getting replaced by a new Robux-treat pet (presumably) in the Supermarket. Even better, this new set of pets will also be joined by a new Legendary pet in the Crystal Egg! This is just like how they added the Dango Penguins inside the Crystal Egg when they added the new Penguins.
We strongly recommend that you try to stock up on Crystal Eggs now so you can try your lucky at hatching this new Legendary Pet as soon as possible. When the Dango Penguins debuted, they got around 35 Ride Potions in value when first released. This is a great opportunity to possibly strike it rich, so don't miss out!

Bots Continue to Make Pet Values Drop

The Winter 2025 event is now well into week 2, and we have some news about it that is both good and bad. The values for pets that cost event currency (Gingerbead in this case) have been dropping extremely quickly. Over the years, everyone knows that event pet values drop slowly each day as they remain in game during the event. This is because more and more of them get earned in the game, which makes the supply start to outpace the demand. However, the drops we have been seeing in the past couple events have been SIGNIFICANTLY faster than in the past. The reason for it: bots and auto-clickers.
Basically some players are using tools that let them automatically accumulate event currency (Gingerbread for this event) endlessly. They just set it up and then let it run 24/7. Some players just do this on 1 device while others do it on tons of alt accounts simultaneously.
Want to know how it is impacting values? Take a look at the Mega Turtle Doves for example. These have been a pretty popular pet, and they were trading for about 20+ Ride Potions when they first came out. However, now just 10 days after being released, they are trading for about 3 Ride Potions each. That is an enormous decline.
There is an upside to this though. Since these items become so inexpensive, they are very easy to get. So if you really love any new Gingerbread-priced pets that come out, just wait a little bit and you can get them (even the mega versions) for super cheap.
Messaging System

Roblox is in the process of rolling out changes to their chatting system which will make it harder for users to communicate with each other when making trades. To help, we have implemented a simple messaging system on our website. We want to protect our users from scammers and creeps, so we will only be allowing pre-defined messages to be sent out.
To use the system, simply click the messaging icon while in our Trading system. This will let you send messages back and forth with the user with whom you have accepted trades. We also plan to expand the messaging system in the future, but first we want to see if users find this helpful.
Value UpdatesDecember 3, 2025
We update values constantly each week as some items get better offers and some items get worse offers (see How We Get Values). Then, about once a year, we recalibrate our values. During this process our goal is to tighten everything back up. We just performed this process today, so you might notice a change in the numerical representation of item values.
As you may know, we use Ride Potion (RP) values. We have been dragging our feet to adjust the value of Ride Potions for quite some time, but today we finally did it. As a result, the RP values of items will now be lower for items (particularly higher tier items). This doesn't mean that any particular item lost value. All items still have the same strength of value that they had previously compared to other items. It simply means that the RP value should now more accurately represent the number of Ride Potions that an item is currently worth (e.g., a fair offer for a Kangaroo currently is right around 12 Ride Potions so this is now properly represented).

It's time for another Photo Contest! The theme this time around is SILLY CHRISTMAS. Your mission is to create a Christmas themed scene in Adopt Me that is also silly at the same time. It should make us laugh and/or confused but make us catch some of the Christmas spirit at the same time.

Secret New Super-Expensive Petwear!?

The big news of today was the release of the new Shih Tzu pets, but there was also some secret news. Today Adopt Me released 2 brand new Legendary Petwear items: the Giraffe Hat and the Giraffe Backpack. You get them by clicking the Shop menu in game and then clicking Merch. The Giraffe Hat comes with one of the $28 T-Shirts while the Giraffe Backpack comes with one of the $50 sweatshirts. Currently these are only for sale to players in the United States.
The merch itself is pretty cool but very expensive. Both items are extremely hard to find in game. We are in the process of receiving offers for them, and 99% of players have no idea what these even are so it will take a while for the word to spread. Good luck to all petwear lovers in finding them.
2 Items About to Rise In Value!?

Adopt Me just announced that the King Penguins are getting REPLACED this Friday (Nov 7) with 3 brand new penguins (choco, vanilla, and strawberry)! The new ones sound much cuter! You know what this means? Players are gonna want tons of Golden Goldfish to try and get those new penguins. This is a great opportunity to make profit!
Additionally, a new Legendary pet is also coming to the Crystal Egg. We expect the value of Crystal Eggs to rise as well if players are interested in this new pet (or "stack of pets" as Jesse said).
So try to get those items for cheap ASAP so you can either use them on Friday or profit trade them ASAP. More info is in the video to the left. Good luck!
Adopt Me Admin Abuse!

Adopt Me will be having its first ever ADMIN ABUSE event this Saturday (Nov 1) at 9AM PST / 12 Noon EST. Will there be free pets? Random potions? Event-only petwear? Lots of free candy for the Halloween event? Weird games or weather events? Nobody knows!
To participate, just log into Adopt Me around 9AM PST/12 Noon EST this Saturday (Nov 1) and be on the main map (not in a mini game). So grab some of your freshly collected IRL Halloween candy & tell your friends so we can hopefully see Adopt Me with over 1 Million concurrent users!
Halloween 2025 Event Ends November 3

The Halloween Event this year has been great! We got tons of new pets, the first ever 1500 Robux pet (which is also the first ever pet that lets you transform it manually into 4 different forms), fun new mini games, a nicely designed map, and much more. As the event starts to near its end, it's time to stock up on candy corn and make your final purchases.
Here is what we recommend: get Ghostly Cats and Cryptids. The popularity of these 2 pets is not to be denied, and high demand like this is typically what drives up value. We think there is also a chance that Kitty Bats will end up rebounding slowly after the event ends because they were also so popular, but that one is tougher to predict since too many bots & auto-clickers flooded the game with them. One alternative solution is to get tons of Aye Ayes and use the new Pet Pen mechanic to make them into neons & megas. They age up very quickly and are pretty cheap. You could turn this into a nice profit.
Halloween Is Here!

Halloween is finally here in Adopt Me! We haven't seen the player base this excited in years. Earlier today we saw Adopt Me's population reach about 400,000 users which was amazing to see. Adopt Me is back!
The most hyped up pet of the Halloween event is the Kitty Bat. We put together a little video to the left to help you learn how you can get one yourself. Note: it is hard to do!

Mega Neon Pet Paints

Today we had another big update in Adopt Me: Mega Neon Paints and a new painting system in the Salon! Check out the video to the left to see a showcase of the 6 new Mega Neon Paints which cost 49 Robux each. We also got some great trades for these items as you will see in the second half of the video. We think most hardcore Adopt Me players will probably want to have all 6 of the Mega Neon paints in their inventories so they can customize their mega pets as desired.

Getting Munchkin Cat & Mini Schnauzer in the Homepass Update

The Homepass update is here, and that means it is time to do a LOT of tasks! It will take a few hours of completing tasks in order to earn your first Munchkin Cat from the Homepass. Then it will take another few hours on top of that in order to earn enough Shane Snacks to purchase a Mini Schnauzer (and also get your 2nd Munchkin Cat).
If you want to speed up how fast you get these rewards, we strongly recommend that you use a Pet Handler Pro Certificate. It lets you equip 2 pets at once which is crucial for going through these Taskboard tasks as quickly as possible.
The Munchkin Cat will only be available for 1 week and will be replaced by a different pet during week 2. Get out there now and grind grind grind!
Royal Aztec Egg Now in Game!

We are now on day 5 of the "Explore the Ruins" event, which means it is the first day that players can buy a Royal Aztec Egg (costs 15 skulls which takes 5 days to collect). Some of the new pets are awesome, and there is currently huge demand for the Royal Aztec Eggs themselves.
Adopt Me mentioned that the Royal Aztec Egg will only be obtainable through the end of next week, and the regular Aztec Egg comes out this Friday. Some of the new pets' names are hard to spell and/or pronounce, so that might impact their demand. Good luck hatching!
