We do however see a lot of evidence of players offering items as high as 2 Frost Dragons as of Sept 25 2026. Update Notes: "We are seeing players willing to take significantly less yet again for Amethyst Penguin - like offers in the 120 RP range. The tricky thing here is that this pet certainly deserves some strong value due to its scarcity and the difficulty to get it. Most offers we are seeing are in the 70 to 120 RP range with an occasional offer above that. We will decrease toward that but note that the decrease seems to have slowed a bit and maybe it will find its place in the hierarchy soon."

Cryptid has just dropped in value for some unknown reason (see cryptid value update we just made) too, which is not a good sign for amethyst. We are seeing offers of Cryptid for amethyst penguin though so perhaps the value right now is somewhere slightly above cryptid. Setting as such"

Update Notes: "The drop continues for the Amethyst Penguin... we are seeing players trying with all their might now to get an Owl for it, but that seems to not really be happening. We are, however, seeing some Parrots being offered for Amethyst Penguin currently. Of course owners want adds though. From where we stand though we think Parrot right now actually might be fair, and anything you can get above that is a win. It is hard to trade a pet for top dollar when it is constantly dropping like this is. Lowering fairly aggressively but noting that at some point this dropping has gotta slow wayyyyyyy down since this pet is truly super hard to get when it comes down to it."

Update Notes: "Most offers we are now seeing for Amethyst are close to (but less than) a Frost Dragon in value. Owners still want a bit more than that but based on the trajectory of this pet (falling tons of every day pretty much), we would strongly recommend to get a Frost (or as close to it as you can) asap before it drops further. We do think it will eventually open its value parachute and the descent will slow down quite a bit -- maybe once it hits around a crow or evil unicorn? After all this pet is still super super super hard to get so it does have a lot of inherent value just from that. Only time will tell though."
