Update Notes: "Argh now we are seeing players willing to take items as low as 6 pet certs for a silverback. When is the madness gonna stop with this pet? If you have played adopt me for a while, you know that pets can usually be pretty reliable to increase in value once they get out of game. Some rise more quickly than others, but most of them will rise - or at least stay the same in value for a while in the worst case. So why did the silverback drop after going out of game and then rise and now seem to slightly drop again? What on earth is going on here? We are gonna have to slightly decrease again due to a few of the things we are seeing but keeping it conservative and hoping this pet can be treated like a normal pet sometime soon."

Update Notes: "Brace yourselves... the comeback has started. We have been following the value of the Silverback gorilla VERY closely over the past couple weeks. As of Sept 26 2026 it was 100 percent absolutely still not looking promising. Offers were not great. As noted in our last value update, we were even able to trade one through the in game trading hub for just 4 pet certs. Well within the past couple days that has changed. The silverback is now getting MUCH better offers. For example we see someone just offered a FR siamese cat for a FR silverback on our site. That is a crazy improvement in just a couple days. Now what would be really interesting would be if someone did research and made a video about whether these offers in reality started to improve BEFORE other value groups started increasing the value or not. We have made many videos about this topic ourselves but dont quite have the time to investigate this one at the moment.Regardless the offers are obviously like night and day now. We recommend going into the in game trading hub and trying to pick some up for cheap while you can as we think it will keep rising over time significantly. We just snagged one for an R Aestus with 2 pet certs and 1 fly pot in game. Nevertheless increasing based ojn the majority of offers we are seeing..."

Update Notes: "We have been testing to see how low users will go in the in game trading hub. First we checked to see if anyone would accept 9 ride potions for silverback. They did. Then we checked to see if someone would accept 4 pet certs. They did. Each time took about 30-60 minutes but it happened. We view these as very good investments at this price. However, the fact that players are willing to trade it away for so little is telling. They have seen it dropping and probably panic trading. However it clearly has a lot of inherent value as the successor to the Giant Panda. At some point the decreases will stop and it will begin its ascent but for now gotta lower again toward what we are seeing. "

Update Notes: "the silverback gorilla is a bit all over the place as we have seen offers ranging from as low as 9 ride potions up to about 14 or 15 RP in value with items like N hare with ride pot add recently. Someone sought out and got 6 pet certs for a FR silverback as well. Offers are not too hot currently with one of the best items we currently see being offered for it is a candicorn. Too many players are still panic trading and fearing it will drop more. If you step back for a moment though it may become clear that int he long run this pet is going to be a good investment. At least we think so. Nevertheless we must value items based on what they are currently trading for, so lowering down a decent bit. "
